The Sage (Emerson, Lake & Palmer)
I carry the dust of a journey
That cannot be shaken away
It lives deep within me
For I breathe it every day
You and I are yesterdays answers
The earth of the past come to flesh
Eroded by times rivers
To the shapes we now possess.
Come share of my breath and my substance
And mingle our streams and our times
In bright infinite moments
Our reasons are lost in our eyes.

Listening to the song and reading the words was great. My mistake was watching too. Oh how odd it seems to look at the hair and clothes of another time in a video.
I'm going to have to find my dad's old LPs and listen to them
Such a beautiful song. Thank you for sharing.
This took me way back. My sister was married to a Emerson, Lake and Palmer fan. We would get hours of wonderful music when we'd visit. Good times. I closed my eye and was sitting oncw again in their apartment in San Diego. Thanks.
Mingling streams of magical dreams, on the cusp of future hope it seems.
Love love love the words to that song. Thank you for posting the video and writing the song out.
