  • CT seems to be copying NJ’s lead.

  • @BB61 - oh, yeah. I have managed to avoid i-95 for the better part of 7 years now, but when I was down in hometown recently, the Post Road (ctr of town) looked kind of like this picture!!!

  • On my way from OR to SC, there were roads all over the map that looked similar to that. I mean MILES of one lane traffic, and no reason behind it other than seeming to piss people off.

  • That’s not Conn that is everywhere…I like the sandbags…like someone in construction put it there

  • Is this an example of honesty being the best policy?  ha ha Very funny.  Enjoy your weekend.

  • Wow.  The one time I was in CT, the freeway was open and the people were driving …. FAAASSSSTT!!!

Loved what little I saw of the state. I’d like to go back and see more of it …. but not in a traffic jam, thank you.

  • @HumbleWalk - what part of CT did you visit?

  • @SamsPeeps - Hmmm … Maine was our “main” destination. Seems like it was I-84 on the way home.

  • @HumbleWalk - we live near i-84 near the Massachusetts line, sort of.

  •   Kind of neat that we might have been within a few miles of each other. I enjoy American History – particularly the colonial era. I very much want to go back to New England and spend some quality time there.

  • @HumbleWalk - New England is awesome for American History. Colonial especially, but also nautical history. There is this little lighthouse in Mystic or near it, that they converted into a little museum. Found it when a friend and I went to the Mystic Center. It was an awesome find! And Boston is a MUST if you’re into colonial/early American history; Salem is another. Where I am from, the southern part of the state close to NY,  there’s history of witch hunts, the Constitution, and the Pequot indian wars.

Thank you for making me re-see how cool my state can be
