@leaflesstree - And he KNOWS he’s cute, too. But, oh, yeah, he’s soft. When he was younger, it was like petting a rabbit. He’s less silky and more fuzzy now, but very, very soft (especially right after a nice long brushing session!)
Thank you for sharing these pictures here on xanga…They are adorable..
@Prolixity_Split - Oh! And I think you mean Cousin Steve stories? (In my family people are named after people who are named after people… hardly ever “juniors” or “IIIs”, just same FIRST names… and so we add the title, “Cousin,” “Uncle,” “Brother,” or whatever, but it still gets confusing sometimes!)… I’m flattered you even remember any stories. Thank you. I am hoping to be writing regularly again soon. Thank you.
Is Sam still living in a kennel? (How did that come to be?)
Been a long time since I’ve seen you ’round these parts. Been seeing you everywhere today! Glad to see you and looking forward to whatever Cousin Steve stories you have left to tell.

@SamsPeeps - I remember quite a few of your stories. When last i was a regular reader, you were telling us about your friend who passed. Sad as they were, those were wonderful tales as well.
@Bricker59 - Ahhh… CB. The Sam’s love life. Who can keep up? Right now, there is a red-headed malamute(sp?) named Rosie who is ka-RAY-zee for him. I didn’t think he liked her at first (he prefers “demure, lady-like,” and not “aggressive”). Once she mellowed out tho… well, I’ve gotten reports of a certain kitty conversing with a red-headed she-wolf… Don Juan de Kitty, I tell ya.
@dingdongdingbat - Aw, Thank you. I will tell The Sam you said so. And he’ll say something modest, like, “I KNOW they’re adorable. How could they not be? They are pictures of MOI.” (He’s kind of like Miss Piggy that way)
@Prolixity_Split - Wow… you’re a sort of “old school” reader. Thank you so much. I’m looking forward to writing happier ones.
OMG he is pure cuteness. I see why you’re crazy about him, he’s adorable, love the shots with the towels.
@DivaJyoti - LOL Thank you! The Sam is squishy! He has had a thing about towels since birth. If he is out and about when the girls are taking towels out of the dryer, he will hop right in the basket. The day of those pictures it had been raining and The Sam INSISTED on taking a walk outside anyway. The girls had just finished laundry, so they had a nice warm towel waiting for him. I wish I’d gotten better shots of him walking around with the towel on (they turned out all blurry), but I’m glad I got the picture of him laying down in the doorway, looking out at the dog (I don’t remember the dog’s name, but they had a little conversation). Thank you again… he IS my sweetie-cat. xo
@SamsPeeps - I can tell you two are real pals. It’s a very special bond.
@seedsower - Was just heading for your place and saw you were just here!
Thanks. I think the towel pics are a lot of folks’ favourite shots. That was one of those rare days when he’d actually sit still long enough to have his picture taken!
I like the one of him and Twister sharing the blankie, too. Twister is the only “little dog” that doesn’t annoy my cat. I think because he doesn’t bark a lot (actually, I’ve known Twister for over a year and I have only heard him bark once). I took more pictures of the 2 of them playing and napping together, but they were horrible blurry.
That fur just begs to be petted! What a handsome, handsome cat.
Adorable!
hey hun, I just mentioned you in this little xanga song I wrote.
do you still have your other account? friend me there too K?
@DivaJyoti - Of course I saw the song before I saw this. LOL That’s me: a**-backward! Thank you so much for including me. That was so cute, that song!
I guess technically, I still have the other account. I don’t really use it. Was thinking of killing it and just posting my fiction here, too, but I don’t know what I want yet, so I’ve just left it alone. Of course I’ll friend you over there! xo

Aww, how sweet!
Aw, he’s so cute. And he looks like he’s soft to pet, too.
So how’s his love life these days?
@mtngirlsouth - Thank you. He is!

@Prolixity_Split - The Sam is still there, hopefully not for much longer. I actually just shared this link with someone else today to sort of explain things (the Reader’s Digest Condensed Version):
