The Polish Prince
Heard this over the speakers at Walgreens the other night. It’s been in my head ever since. Makes me think of my parents, and my grandma, too.
Do you remember Bobby Vinton?

Love this one.
do I EVER! One of my favorites!
If you mean as in, “heard of him,” yep!
Haha! I didn’t even play the video and the song is stuck in my head!

Thanks, guys. Hope you all have a good night!
I can’t remember what TV show he would be a guest on every now and then. I want to say Lawrence Welk, but I think that’s not right. Anyway, I like him
@saintvi - LOL!
@SamsPeeps - you too!
Yep, I think he did this depressing song I was obsessed with when I was very young. “Honey, I miss you?” Wasn’t that his? The wife died in the song, or, rather the song was about his dead wife? This song I don’t remember too much. Hope it doesn’t get stuck in my head. If it does I promise I will pay you back with another song that will, hee hee
my mom had some of his records
@DivaJyoti - I think that was one of his songs… and Blue Velvet… Mr. Lonely…

@SamsPeeps - Oh I ADORE Blue Velvet from the Movie. I really really really love that movie.
I’m part Polish, so yeah, my mother and grandmother loved him. He did a song in Polish they used to sing.
I’ve heard of him and I think I’ve heard a few of his songs before.
Bobby Vinton is one of my FAVORITE singers of all time! When I was little, I needed his music to fall asleep at night (my grandmother babysat me and always played it)!
@comet555 - My Melody of Love!!! I posted it for you.
I love that song!
@Shining_Garnet - I think you may be too young to really “remember”him. Really, I am, too. I was sort of a “later in life baby”.
@CrazySwede - <3!!! I just posted another of his songs today, for Comet555 ^ Glad you came over!
my cousin Glen D Hardin and James Burton, both who later became members of Elvis TCB band and Emmylou Harris’s Hot Band were in The house band the Shindog’s, on the show Shindig
@TexasTidbits - Wow… that’s cool beans!
